Dish out in Sacramento due to snow?

Any one else having this problem? Does a light dusting of snow on the dish cause this?

Not At my house in Pocono PA.
We just got 7 inches on Saturday and I never had one outage. Freezing Rain can cause outages since it coats the dish with Ice and reflects the signal away from the LNBs.
Or a really Heavy Wet snow can cause an outage.
A light powder should cause no issue.
I can tell you for a fact , That D* and E* have the exact same effect during snow and ICE.

But then again, we didn't get any snow. Usually the high delta wins are the only thing that knocks our service out.

I've never seen a light dusting of snow do it, but certainly when snow is falling and its cloudy

Could be the storm system between the dish and the satillite in the sky.

well im in eldorado Hills just outside sac and we have no issues, we got 3-4 inches mostly melted now
