Dish Remote 6.4

I have a dish remote and a Olevia tv, my questions are, my remote turns my tv on/off, volume up/down, but no other commands. Can't get channels to switch or guide to come up. Any suggestions.

IIRC the Dish remote is designed to turn yourt TV on and off and volume up and down when connected to the Dish receiver where it changes the channels and performs Dish reciever functions.

It is not a universal remote, it is a Satellite remote that performs limited functions on connected TVs.

That is true. The OP Indiana79 might try gaining access to those other buttons if he presses the red TV button near the top first.

It's hit or miss with programming any remote. Be glad if you can get volume and power programmed.
