Dish repositioning?

ok, so my brother and i are going to a cabin for the weekend that has direct satellite. we are going to hook his direct receiver up to the dish that is at the cabin. will we have to do anything other than simply unhooking the existing receiver and replace with his to receive his programming?

Depending upon how far from the house the cabin is, you may not receive your LIL stations.

That being said, and assuming the dish at the cabin is still correctly pointed at the satellites, it shouldn't be a problem. The only thing that might be an issue is if the dish at the cabin is a different style of dish (single LNB, Dual LNB, and triple sat) than you currently have at the house.

If they're different, all you have to do is reconfigure the satellite dish from the receiver's setup menu.
