My garage is 100 feet from my house, I have Cat6 between the two. Can I put my wired joey into the garage without a coax cable? No
coax in garage from house, just Cat6. Not sure if this is possible or will I need coax out there to make this work. Have two wired joeys not with coax, was
hoping to unhook one and move to garage. Thanks for any input on this.

Thanks for the reply, do I need to buy anything special. Do I just hook the cat6 from the joey to my network that has the hopper on.

You could just try it first with a short Ethernet jumper wire next to your TV with the Hopper before you test a 100 foot cable

I know it will work on DIRECTV with 2 Coax to Ethernet adaptors

Yup thats it, as long as they are on the same network it will work.
