Dish v 52 or v 54 remote

It seems like my v 52 remotes are acting up more and more. Constantly have to press buttons twice. Is the v 54 remote any better and where is the cheapest place to buy ... I need 5 of them.

54.0 is the better remote. Order from DISH, dishdepot.com, check on line, etc to purchase them. Also call DISH and see if they will send a replacement for your defective remote.

I use both 40.0 and 54.0 remotes. If only the 40.0 had back lite it would be the best remote of all time.

I can't believe it has taken Dish over 20 years to realize the benefits of backlighting a remote. Should have been a standard feature from day one.

My wife really liked when we had the backlit Tivo remotes. Once I build my muscle memory, it really doesn't make much difference to me.

Rather than demanding I asked for 5 ... they gave me 3 and charged me $20 ea. for the other two ... free shipping. I only had 3 pieces of equipment so one each.

If we don't always stay at our service address, will they ship the 54 remotes to the address of our choice?
Or will it cause problems.
