Dish500 and the 921

Yes, that should work fine. I have seen nothing that says the 921 will REQUIRE a SuperDish. Without a SuperDish, at some point in time, you will be limited on what HD programming you can get so I would seriously consider getting one.

You will able to use this setup no problem, be aware you will be limited to the HD channels on 110 and 148 (the 148 channels will disapear in the future leaving you with only the 4 channels on 110)

Best bet is to get yourself a SuperDish, lots of HDTV coming.

I do plan on eventually moving to the SuperDish but for now I only want to spend the money on the 921.
