DISHAnywhere to AppleTV

This might be one of those "well, duh!" things, but I gotta ask. I want to access my home DISH system (Hopper with Sling Adapter) through the DISHAnywhere app on my iPhone 4s. I was told by Apple Customer Support that "all I need to do is make sure AirPlay is enabled, then you're set." Well, I'm not set. I do have AirPlay enabled, and I had AppleTV up on the telly, and it was showing my iPhone screen quite nicely. But when I went to the DISHAnywhere app, the screen for the AppleTV display went black. Am I missing a step here, or is DISHAnywhere not enabled for AirPlay?

We do not support Apple Airplay. It will not work.
