Dishnetwork 18" dish and FTA Telstar5

I had dish network in the past but not anymore. The hardware is still there mounted on the roof. Do you know if I can get Telstar5 channels using the 18" dish and LNB by just buying an FTA receiver?
I know similar questions were asked, sorry for being redundant. A newbie, you know

The Dishnotwork dish is WAY too small for FTA channels, even the LNB is not much use. You will need a KU LNBF for 98% of the FTA channels and a 30" dish is about the minimum you will get away with.

as Pete noted, you would need a 30" minimum dish size. The transponders on IA5 are too weak for anything smaller.
