Transponder Changes:
EchoStar2 148W TP 08 ConUS beam changed modulation scheme from QPSK to 8PSK
EchoStar2 148W TP 08 ConUS beam changed symbol rate from 20000 MSPS to 21500 MSPS
EchoStar2 148W TP 08 ConUS beam changed FEC from 5/6 to 2/3

Channels in the system: 4740
(A) = Available to subscribers
(NA) = Not Available

MP413-MP421. These test channels on 148?

If I count right that is 9 on one transponder (8). I wonder if they are seeing if they can push that number even higher per transponder.

Checking The List there are even more sd MPEG4 (20) on that same transponer (8). Wow!!

Digi, I posted at Pub forum - 61.5W tpns 5,9,11,13 are combo type - have normal TID and SB TIDs, in streams there spool with only normal TID (1xx), so no SB guess for the tpns.

Man, it is time to obtain SA ! Or build BLSA at least - we need other point of RF analysis at east cost or close to that.

I posted results for the side already - we need someone from east cost.
So, you have BLSA, but never post any picture ?

Digi, that eBay seller from Israel still have BROADLOGIC 2030 cards.

I have a BLSA, I have posted a few pictures, mainly FTA related in the FTA section.

I also got my BL2030 card from the eBay seller from Israel.

EDIT - Smith, P - I just noticed your post in the Pub:)
Where are you located (Where is BA?) ?

I'm not seeing any changes on the beams yet. 107 was turned off a couple of weeks ago and is still off in my area. According to info we have on E12 I'm under Spotbeam 12.

1: not locked
3: not locked
5: locked with TID 105
7: not locked
9: locked with TID 109
11: locked with TID 111
13: locked with TID 113
15: not locked
17: locked with TID 117
19: locked with TID 119
21: locked with TID 121
23: not locked

So once you have a TID in the 100's range, that means that there is spot activity on that physical transponder I am assuming? I see that you reference combo type transponders, these must be purely virtual I would assume? Conus and Spot dont mix by their very nature? They must simply be running tests using those transponders I guess?

A 100 range TID is CONUS beam from 61.5.

Yes, you have to be CONUS or Spotbeam on the same TP since your receiver couldn't figure out which is which.

It looks like Philly locals are on the top of the list. Why does it say unavailable,I thought E* had Philly Locals in HD already. Ref. WCAU,WPVI,KYW ext.

The listings you are reading are for the Spotbeam and will become available and likely change channel numbers to the current available numbers when the Spotbeam is activated.. The Philly HD locals have been available from a ConUS transponder for some time now.

OK so they are moving to spotbeam status! I see. Why though? does it save space? Wasn't Directv going to do away with spotbeams for locals,Or is that just for HD RSN's

Spotbeams do free up transponder space, because one transponder can service spotbeams for multiple cities. So if a satellite has six cities on CONUS transponders, they can serve all six on one transponder with spotbeams, and free up the other five transponders for CONUS.

But will make your chances of getting neighboring networks impossible,or could it still be possible if that stupid law or rule what ever we call it gets dropped?

Sometimes spotbeams cover more than one market and adjacent markets could be provided in some cases, if legal. In fact, you may receive the adjacent market(s) but not be authorized to view them.

Whats the reason were not authorized? Why can't we have the same local channel Line up as Cable and Fios?
