After a very long call with a lead customer service person and his contacts with the training and one other department, he confirmed that...

ROCHESTER, MN and not ROCHESTER, NY is the one the HD local coming soon list!!!!

So, the information on Charlie Chat was correct despite Rochester, MN's much smaller market size and the fact that someone here reported Rochester, NY locals were already in test.

There is a spotbeam on 119 that will cover the area. Right now 129 spotbeam does not cover the whole DMA (covers part of it)

Well it makes sense on the Charlie Chat they were showing new markets that would go up on E14 when it became active around June 1st.

But the Rochester, NY locals were on an EA bird being tested and had nothing to do with 119. So you are correct, it is both.

Should Spotbeam B14 be updated to include Indiana as well? That is the best coverage for SW Indiana compared to the ones labeled as Indiana.

No, otherwise I would have some long names for each beam if I listed every state it touched, so I just named them the main focus of the beam.

Either way that spotbeam is perfect for Evansville, IN HD locals. That will keep us on WA instead of the EA that they were uplinked to in November.

LOL.. . be careful believing anybody when they tell you your locals in HD are coming. I watched Charlie live on the Charlie Chat show mine going live last November. Six months later they are still not live.

I'm not sure what to look for on the uplink report. I am at DMA 153. My signal dropped out yesterday in the afternoon and am wondering if I have been moved over to 119. I thought I was on 110 and 129 previously, but when the receiver rebooted it was searching for signal on 119. Does this mean HD locals are close?

Dish has the new satellite at 119 and is moving channels around on that satellite since spotbeam transponders changed

The Rochester/Mason City/Austin/Albert Lea locals are not uplinked yet in HD. Your SD locals are still on 110
