Does 811 require Dishpro LNB?

I have a dish 500 setup (non Dishpro). Will this work?

I ask because I was looking at the spec sheet here and saw the DISHPRO logo next to the SAT IN connector.

Thanks.

No, but you will have to buy a DishPro adapter. I think there around $65-75.

I am confused - I thought the Legacy adapter was to use Dishpro switches with Legacy receivers, not the other way around. I was under the impression that the 811 will work just fine with legacy LNBFs.

No it does not have to be a Dishpro LNB and you do not need an adapter eaither. :)

(You need an adapter if you have a older legacy receiver with newer Dishpro LNB's) :)
