Don Imus signs deal with Fox Business Network

Sharp-tongued radio host Don Imus has signed a multiyear deal with Fox Business Network to simulcast his popular radio program, the network announced today. Imus, who recently ended a similar arrangement with RFD-TV, a rural cable network, will join the FBN lineup Oct. 5.

Huge mistake by Fox. I invest and I watch business channels early in the morning to get updated on what went on overseas. I do not want to here this blowhard pontificate about issues he really lacks the capacity to understand.

How many viewers does that channel have? It's unbelievable that the Imus show which isn't even in the top radio morning shows in NY where it is based (or anywhere for that matter), is getting any TV deal. And how does his show have anything to do with business news? CNBC is happy about this decision I'm sure...
