DPP44 & Diplexer for Cable TV

Need some advice...

I currently have a DPP44 running 3 dual tuner DVR's (722,612,612) and one single tuner box. One of my 612's has an OTA antennae that isn't working very well. What I would like to do is send that 612 a cable signal (which comes into our home as well for Internet) for OTA locals. Can I diplex in the cable signal to that particular 612's line (post-DPP44) and un-diplex it before the splitter for the 612's two tuners?

You can diplex the signal, but neither the 722 or 612 have cable compatible tuners.

You might have problems with your internet if you do that. Cable modems and diplexers usually don't play well together.

Thanks. I was hoping the OTA antennae input would accept the cable as an antennae input.
