I started looking into windows media center and dish network and found an article about "Draco". This would be such a cool thing. It's funny how many posts I have read from google about people saying how they would switch to dish if they came out with this.

As alluded to in those posts, a better solution, Sling, is on the way.

I ve checked engagdet blog atleast 30 times for any kind of update on this project. I am trying keep my hopes alive on this project. Because VMC now supports cablecards from verison fios but I dont want to jump the ship if dish is cooking something with VMC...

Large number of vista user dont even know what is it. Because it is not easy to set it up, but once u have set up correctly it blows away all dvr

I am keeping my fingers crossed on draco project.

It's sounding like there is no hope for this. It would be nice to get rid of the DVR fees. It would also be a nice way for Dish to capture market share from Direct.
