I've been recording the weekly episodes of Hee Haw on RFD TV. As of about 2 weeks ago, I've been unable to play the recorded file on my computer using VLC or over the network via Samba with my Popcornhour C-200 media player.
The file plays fine from the AZBox when selecting (Menu / Recordings) from the remote. The file does not play when accessed through the AZBox file manager.
At first I thought that I had a corrupted file, but now the problem is repeatable, I suspect that DRM has been added to recorded file by the AZBox. The problem occurs with Hee Haw, but not with other programming on the same channel.
Has anybody else observed this phenomenon?
