If I drop a channel which I have a la carte (international), will I lose recordings I have on my DVR? I have a 612. I think I remember seeing this question maybe a year ago, but I don't remember the answer.

When I had Time Warner, if I downgraded my package, the DVR recordings would delete themselves, but not on Dish. That DVR also only had a 80GB HDD, with no expand-ability options, and I payed almost twice as much as I do now for Dish.

Thanks guys. I need to save some cash but my daughter has a bunch of kids programs recorded which she still wants to watch. This will make both of us happy.

Is Dish Satellite 129 Not Operating Again?
