I can't confirm anything since I did not activate my account as of today but I asked my broker and he said: "no ppv but yes for the $50 programming credit on 1st bill" (I got the DSR505)
So I assume one should be able to get the $250 for the DSR530 or I will have a not so good surprise in a month
I bought my receivers 505 & 530 last month. I called *C today and asked for the $250 promotional credit. I initially received $100.00 credit when I first started my account, $50.00 for each receiver. The CSR offered me an additional $113.00 and after a little wining by me I got her to up another $50.00 to $163.00. Anyone in the same boat give them a call and you should be able to get at least part of the credit to your account.
