DTV channel numbers not displayed correctly

So I tuned to channel 26.2 using my OTA antenna on my new Samsung LCD TV.

Channel 26.2 is WCIU-DTV, but only the sound was present, no video, except an animated Speaker Icon (that I guess is a Samsung on-screen cue for something).

Pretty soon the picture came back but the channel number was now 27.3!

On two different TV's with ATSC tuners that I have, WCIU subchannels are where they're supposed to be:

26.1
26.2
26.3
26.4
26.6

But now on my Samsung, they are mapped as

27.3
27.4
27.5
27.6
27.8



Anybody know what might be causing this?

Poor signal strength/bad PSIP/problem in Samsung?

Just a thought, but if it were me with the problem, I would re-scan for channels.

Thanks, Bob and Jess. I read in the AVS forums where it seems it was a mapping prob from the source. Their PSIP info went wacky with the time change for some reason. But lasted for a week.

My locals also change from time to time.

Every station has a Radio Shack TRS-80 inserting the channel numbers into the signal and sometimes they get scrambled.
