Dumb question; Is 1 meter dish bigger than 40X30 Primestar dish?

I need a dish bigger than 36X26 to replace a Primestar dish. There's no 40X30 Primestar dishes available on Ebay anymore. Is a 1 meter dish from sadoun bigger or the same size as a 40X30? Thanks.....

1m is around 39.5" So all round the 1m will be slightly bigger (surface area), but I am sure will be much better made with more gain than an old P*

Believe it or not, the 1M is almost 31% larger. A 36" is approx. 8% larger. You could figure on them to have similar gains over the oval dish.

Notice the 1m dish we carry measures 43" ht x 39.4" width.

Thanks everyone. I have a pot and a pole already for my AMC 9 and SBS 6 dishes. Does the extension thing surrounding the pole come with the dish or is that part of the $49 upgrade? I'll probably be getting 2 here real soon for SBS 6 and AMC 9 with the Invacom lnbf's. 36 inch Primestar works good for KUIL on AMC 4, but not good on AMC 9 and it barely gets the feeds on IA8 a new bird.
