I am currently looking at the Technotrend 3200 PCI card and the TT S2-3600 USB box. The specs on the two are the same. From a performance standpoint is there a downfall to going the USB route. Would the box be more prone to things like picture freezes etc?

I have both. I was disappointed in the DVB-S2 performance of the TT S2-3600. TSReader locks up on many DVB-S2 signals. The S2-3200 PCI works much better. I would not recommend the TT S2-3600.

Thank you for the information. I was hoping to hear some positive about the TT3600. I am mainly interested in this for DVB-S2 and messing around with the 8PSK feeds that are popping up. I am glad you were able to compare them. I will go with the TT 3200.
