I'm trying to find out if I can connect the 921 DVI "out" to an iScan HD+ and then use an ATI HDTV Component Video Adapter from the iScan DVI out to connect to a Mitsubishi WS65712 (no DVI input on this unit). Using the DVI is the only way to process 1080i with the iScan, due to HDCP.

As I understand, the adapter is just a plug that breaks out the analog signal from the DVI-I connector, but I don't know if it is HDCP compliant or even if it matters at that point.

I've contacted both manufacturers and neither know if this will work. Does anyone have any experience or input with this or any other adapter to achieve what I'm trying to do?

Thanks,

George
