DVR 522 Content Download

Ok, So i'm planning on ordering my Dish service and I'm getting a 522. I was wondering short of playing it back to a tv capture card is there any way to download the content you record onto my computer. Thanks.

Nope unfortunately the only way to dump content to your computer is via a capture card.

No that I know of. However with that said some older Dish receivers can be modified to do this. Check out the yahoo group dishrip for information on how to do this and what is needed.
