So I just bought an HR24/500 HD DVR and installed in my LR where my HR22 (slow as hell!) was - so there were already 2 sat. lines for the DVR. Now I then moved my HR22 into my other room where it replaced an HD Rec. Non-DVR, HR21 I believe or maybe it was HD21. So stupid me, I didn't factor in a head of time that I would only have one existing Sat. in line going to the HR22! Well I changed to settings in the receiver to single tuner...but other that paying Directv $50 to install another line, if my mutliswitch even has any unused ports - is there any gadget which would act as a splitter which I could place at the end of the Sat. in line.Which would allow me to record and watch live tv at the same time?
Thanks very much!

Had a similar issue and bit the bullet and had D* come out and switch me to MRV. It will cost a few bucks but BOY it's nice. That only requires one coax to each receiver/DVR.
