IF the beam gets there you would need one helluva dish

121 is KU band, which is lower powered than DBS slots. If you need a 1.2m (or larger) dish in Alaska for 119, you would need probably a 10 footer AT LEAST for 121 :)

Actually at my location I need 70cm for 119, roughly 150cm for 110 so I'm guessing 121 would need 180 or so... argh...

You never know.... 121 is a very powerful bird compared to some of the other KU birds. You might try asking in the FTA area if there are any Alaska users in the area.
