I would shoot for AMC6....I think the AMC7 feed is designed for AK/HI because my 6 footer has picked up AMC7 NASA feeds a couple times...otherwise 0 quality...and I aim at AMC7 a fair amount (love 360North)

AMC6 I can get nice and strong on the 6 footer and I know qwert1515 has got them on his 1.2m dish and C-Band LNB

I am going to be trying out a 6ft dish specifically for NASA on AMC-6.

Just for kicks I may try AMC-7 as well. I get that reasonably well on the 12 ft dish but would suspect with my low look angle, I would co-channel interference a 6 ft dish.

Unfortunately being the wimp I am that won't happen until the weather warms up!

Results will be posted here :)

By the LyngSat chart there's more channels on AMC6/7 and I think one or more is HD. It says "Mission Operations" channel is scrambled so I guess I can't get that one, but I'd like to see those space pics in HD :D

AMC 7 at 137.0°W - LyngSat
They light up the HD feed during shuttle missions, and the pictures are awesome! Also on AMC6, you'll get a few extra TV stations that aren't on AMC7. Have fun!:)

I have Hill/Tree issues to the east :(
At least until I move to NM.
Then, the sky's the limit
