This week I started with the EchoHorizonMount Usals mod .
First made a 22 slotted pulswheel for the optical sensor to generate approx 38 pulses / degree AZ
This EHM does not have end-switches since it is supplied with a slip clutch and a blocking system .
Then took the gear apart to made a longer groove since with the original length it made a arc of only 130º AZ .
Machined it to a arc of 175º , at the upper side of that gearwheel removed a listel and machined a curved line for the zero switch and some space for that mico-switch .
Connect it to a SG2100 diseq motor circuitbaord and a relais interface , powered by 30 volts .
Already tested it and its working fine , just have to check the movement is correct to Usals according to the LAT / LON .
Doe anyone know what size / weight of dish this motor can handle ?
