As exciting as it is to have SpaceX launching the Falcon 9, that Ariane 5 LOOKS like a rocket that means business! Plus, maybe Cape Canaveral should spring for more palm trees.

Hopefully I get back from the movies in time to watch the liftoff Saturday. Go Echostar XVIII!!!

I saw this this morning but it would not let me create a timer for it on my 4K Joey. Now that we're close to the actual event, I've pressed record and manually extended it to 5:45pm EDT.

Hmm, not good, the countdown went red.

Edit: Okay, maybe it's the way to freeze the count at T-07m00s until they're ready to pick it up for the 4:45pm EDT launch.
