Has anyone been able to get the subject remote to control the sony bd 570? If so which code was used?

Please do not advise me to use a Harmony the wife refuses.

FWIW I will ask this on remotecentral.com

I will just go with the DISH Learning Remote----the path of least resistance.

That's funny about your wife. Mine for one hated all the remotes on the coffee table. Second, she has 0 tech savvy and would never be able to power everything up and get set right (and of course, that was all MY fault). Now all she has to do is press one button. She loves it...and quit b****in. And it's just the old bottom line 525 which I got for $20.00 new on eBay a couple of years ago.

That's a blu-ray player you're trying to get to program? IMHO I wouldn't bother. The dish remote is only barely functional with that sort of thing and you're better off using the Sony remote for it. I wouldn't even suggest a Harmony, the Sony remote is just better for the blu -ray.

Try code 500, it works for Sony TV's. I know when you use the "DVD" or "AUX" buttons, you need to put in a prefix number when programming. Available at Dishnetwork.com
