Can someone tell me why anyone would stay with AT&T for their cell provider when Boost is using the AT&T network but only charging $15.09 per month. The cost for AT&T is $40-50 per month. I love Boost. It helps justify my expensive Dish network.

In my case I am not a DISH subscriber so I can't get it for $15.09 per month. It would be $25 per month which is what I pay for AT&T prepaid which includes hotspot which I use as my internet backup if I for some reason have an internet outage with my current ISP. The Boost $25 plan does not include hotspot.

boost would be prioritized. meaning you would have very slow data or none at all!!! someone on a top AT&T plan has high speed data non stop and no limits. wich is true for any carrier weather it be AT&T verizon t-mobile. the higher paying customers are put on a different part of the network vs prepaid or mvno's. i write my cell bill off on my taxes as well!!! I think AT&T'S top prepaid plan now includes unlimited high speed data. though i could be wrong on that. though since it's prepaid my thought's would be it's still prioritized vs someone on a top tier post paid plan...

40-50 a month for AT&T for the unlimited high speed data it's closer to 100.00 a month for one line the more lines you add the cheaper per sub it gets

In my case I have had DIRECTV for 31 years and if DISH would buy DIRECTV and want to force me to move to DISH I would cancel because when I leave DIRECTV I am done with satellite with the dish on the roof and cables around and under my house. I only still have it because my wife loves it but if my $40 discount isn't renewed when it expires next month she will have to find something else to love. Or someone else to love!

Nope. If I leave DIRECTV satellite I am done with satellite.

Boosts piss poor limits on 'unlimited data'. They max out at 50 GB of Priority data. I could never deal with something that low, especially being subjected to 512 Kbps after you max out. That's insane.

I do 80-100 Gb GB on T-Mobile and over 50 GB on FirstNet.

I would think Boost gets lower priority then AT&T gives their own customers, especially those on higher tiers. Then there's also hotspot data and Canada/Mexico roaming.

Comparing apples to apples on the same band, Boost tends to be slower in my experience. I was in an area with strong n77 coverage on Saturday evening and was exceeding 1 Gbps on FirstNet, got a little over half that on Boost.

I am not budget conscious, I want the best experience possible cost be damned. I am not Boost's target customer.

I'm going on an extensive 3000 mile round trip road trip at the end of October, after that my Boost line will be cancelled
