In looking around I notice a lot of the Remote Control patents I see by Echostar were all created by Luke, who was the same person who gave us the Demo of the of the Wireless Keyboard Remote last month at Team Summit.

This one looks like it might be a way to make jumping though commercial breaks more accurate in non Auto-Hop situations. No more over or under-shooting the end of a break. I'm probably wrong, though.
