To keep everyone from wanting to upgrade to the 622 with 500megs, Dish should realease the USB external storage ASAP!

Personally 500 megs wouldn't be enough for me. I'd like 100 hours of HD storage so I don't have to keep deleting stuff I haven't watched to make room for new stuff.

USB storage can't come soon enough for me as long as I can directly record and play using it.

Is the external USB drive option for SURE going to be supported on the 622...or only on the 622-1?

Yes, it will be on both
