ED Plasmas / SD or HD service??

blueguy, I wish you could visit our store so you could see LG's 5000:1 contrast ratio 42" ED plasma TV displayed next to many HD plasmas. No one could pick out the ED model, no one at all. We have many high end custom video technicians in our store as we supply many custom integrators and no one can tell which TV is ED,not even the pros.

There's a major difference. I can spot an ED tv instantly over HD if they're receiving HD signals.

Yes you can (so does everyone else) if you move close enough. If you move to a typical viewing distance (7-8ft) you won't be able to see the difference on 42" display. You will see difference on 50" and this is the main reason they don't make 50" ED plasmas.
