My picture breaks up for a couple seconds whenever an appliance kicks on
It'll break up whenever my heat/air comes on, dishwasher or washing machine/dryer changes cycles.
They're on different circuits than my DVR and TV
Any ideas?
Would a ferrite cord help? If so just 1 or should get a few?

Sorry about the typos, I'm on my phone and the buttons are too small for my fingers

It's probably not an interference problem. It means your elecricity service is over loaded. Equipment with motors uses more power on startup and it's reduucing the voltage in other parts of the house.
Putting your DVR and the power inserter on a UPS should solve the problem.

alternative theory, one or more of your coax cables is picking up EMI from a power cable in your home from being too close.
