This was a visit to investigate loss of phone service in a village. On the ride from the airport "Oh they didn't tell you what happened?" Novice trackhoe operator apparently. Shown is the temporary dish we installed that provided service for a couple months while a new dish arrived on the barge.

Wonder if that came out of his paycheck?
Pretty cool looking temporary dish.

Native village, tribal health consortium project no they were not charged the costs spent, maybe 10% of costs were recovered. Politics.

No problem. A little Bondo on the old dish and bend the wave guide back into shape, good to go! Never mind you light up three satellites at once....

I like the design of that temporary antenna. Quite stylish. But my neighbors might not agree.

I didn't mean to post this twice, my new post (yesterday) has 2 of the same photos. Anyway......

Its a "flyaway" that you can take on an airplane. They pack in containers designed for airplane travel or shipment via Fed-X, etc.
Yep, exactly what we do it was carried on our Pilatus.
