English Subtitles for Foreign Channels

Hi All,

New to theres forums.


I was wondering if anyone knew if I can have foreign channels, particularly from the Arabic Package, with Subtitles. I called tech support and them seem to be pretty clueless about the question.

Any help with this would be great.

as far as I know, DN does not add subtitles to the video stream they get from the tv stations providing the signal.

So to answer your question it depends on the station transmitting the signal - if they add in subtitles, you'll see them.

Dish does not add subtitles (it would cost a fortune to hire people to translate and type fast while doing it )
