i have two vip622 duo boxes now. they are configured as follows: living room(hd) and bedroom1(sd), bedroom2(hd) and bedroom3(sd). we want to get another hd tv in bedroom 3. dish wants an outright buy of an hd dvr solo for about $500. is it possible to buy one on ebay (after making sure it's an owned by the seller, not one that wasn't returned to dish, and connect it up ourselves? i must admit i have not done any satellite work.. have run many cable installs though. i understand that dish may charge a fee monthly.
