Been watching ESPN 2 which today has been rebranded ESPN 8 - The Ocho Today.

I am not a sports fan, but have enjoyed watching so far today great seeing some of these obscure sports which we never get to see on TV.

I wish they would leave the channel this way.

It is in the very highest sports tier, but the oddly named Eleven Network (DirecTV 623) is mostly only slightly less obscure spots. BBC America also shows darts.

It is a stunt. It was one weekday in the middle of August when it was MLBN's turn to carry baseball. It is similar to a radio station that plays Christmas music one day in July.
