ESPN Unlimited

I sent a message on Directv accounts chat, the rep went ahead and sent my link to activate ESPN unlimited.
The rep said they are sending out emails over the next few weeks.
Said the Disney and Hulu will be sent out later also.
I did the same today and they sent me the emails to add the entire bundle.

Apparently the ability to upgrade Hulu to no ads is not available yet.
I was getting the Disney bundle free through Verizon without the ability to upgrade Hulu.
That was the reason I changed it to through D*.

I tried to chat and get a link yesterday but was told it was only available to streaming users right now despite multiple attempts to get the link :-(
Is it a specific link per user or is it a generic link that will work for everyone?

They will add to your acct, you will see ESPN listed. Once added. Also link to set it up.
The Disney Hulu they said a link but didn't get one once added. Just used same login and got in to those.

My chat person telling me streaming only SMH
To say otherwise would be misleading.

So next question, what's the most economical way to get NFL RedZone?

Is the only way to get it via the DirecTV Sports Pack for $14.99?

It doesn't look like NFL+ Premium package is available via the Disney/Hulu/ESPN bundle for $9.99 add-on if your bundle is part of a 3rd party (aka, DirecTV).

If you have the Entertainment package on DIRECTV the price of Redzone is $16.99 starting Oct. 5. All other packages are still $14.99.

YTTV Redzone is cheaper but you have to subscribe to YTTV to get it.

If you're a streaming customer and only care about the sports channels and the Big 4 locals, RedZone is also available with the $12.99 MySports Extra mini-pack that you can add to the $69.99 MySports pack

I think there is a WWE espn event on the 20th

Any updates for sat customers ?
As said before, "it won't be available until later in the fall". The event is on the 20th. Fall doesn't start until the 22nd so it won't be available to sat customers until sometime between 9/22 and 12/21. And even that might be iffy when it comes to DIRECTV.

The announcement said "later this fall" for DTV Sat and U-Verse. As of now, unless you have DTV Stream, Spectrum, Fubo or Hulu Live TV, you have to pay for a $30 Unlimited subscription to see it, instead of the ~$5 for Peacock or the $9.99 for WWE Network prior to that.

DTV Sat, U-Verse, Dish, Xfinity, Cox, FiOS, Optimum, YouTubeTV and others only have access to the linear ESPN channels that are part of their TV package and the dwindling list of "ESPN3" events, none of the "Unlimited" events, and the option to order WWE via traditional PPV providers is now gone.

When that announcement was made, their WWE rights weren't going to begin until 2026, but then they managed to get out of the Peacock deal early on a technicality, and start it on 9/20.
