Event on Versus blacked out without warning

I have a recurring recording set up on Versus for Cyclism Sundays. Yesterday, March 16, the event did not show up on the My Recordings list. I went to the log and saw that the event was "blacked out." Never had that happen before, and since the event was in France, it is not like it was competing for gate revenue, like a local football game.

Anyone else have this happen?

Recorded fine for me. It was listed as a repeat, so had to override the Dish Pass, or whatever it is called. The Versus HD showing was great! Widescreen PAL world feed.

This gets weirder and weirder. I sent an e-mail query to DISH, be interesting to see what (if they respond at all) they say. My son, who has TWC, got it just fine.

BTW, if you are a cycling aficianado, did you note that Cyclism Sundays' schedule omits the Giro d' Italia? Last year I did a one month subscription to RAI, got live feeds of the full stages each day. In Italian, of course.
