Using Dish Anywhere, can you view recordings on an EHD attached to a HWS?

I have two original Hoppers and I am planning to upgrade to two HWS or a HWS+Super Joey. I was thinking I could move a lot of movies to the EHD if I go with the Super Joey setup but I might not do that if I can't view what is on the EHD.

This is one thing that I do not like about the Hopper. My old 722 and 622 receivers were able to view shows stored on the EHD (although Dish has stated that the reason that it worked on those receivers was a bug). Bug or not, the Hopper has taken a big step backwards in that regard.

You could always switch receivers to the VIP722K. :coco

Yup; the 722 (which I have) and the 722k could take a Sling Adapter and view the EHD via DishAlmostAnywhere. ;) The 622, so far as I know, could not, supposedly due to chipset limitations.
