Extra $5.00 off per month for new customers?

One of the rebates that DTV is offering right now is an extra $5.00 off per month on their programming packages. This rebate is set to expire 2-9-2011. Do they usually extend these or offer a better one after it expires?

That is about the time I am signing up but will not have the installation until the end Of February. I do not want to lose the rebate, should I sign up before the 9th or gamble and wait? It is 5.00 per month, not life or death but I do not want to leave money on the table.

Sign up before, if it becomes better, you can cancel and sign back up (since you have so much time between then and the install).
