Favorite Channel List

This is kind of a stupid question, how do you delete a custom channel list name?. I made a special list for channels that have free preview of sports, movie channels, etc. I cannot get rid of the name in the "Choose a List" menu. I can rename it but I want to delete the special name I gave it and have no clue on how. I really don't want to call DirecTv for help trying to explain this one to them. Anyone with ideas ?. It's an HR-24 btw.

If you go into Menu > Settings > Reset > Reset Defaults, the receiver will reset your lists to default conditions. You will be back to the original Favorites setup condition of two custom choices with nothing in either one. It may also reset other settings in the receiver, such as the to do list, but will not erase any recordings.

Thanks, will give that a try. I was just dreading having to call DirecTV. You would think they would have an option just to delete the custom name
