firefox not loading the photo attachments

Anybody else with the latest firefox getting "Attached thumbnails" in the box where they should be-but not the actual photo files? I haven't figured this one out , on some threads where there is a pdf file attached, it will show that, but not photos. I have checked the control panel and it has the photo option set to Yes or On, but still not getting the pictures attached. I have AdBlock plus but it has never blocked those in the past. I'm using Mepis Linux...variant of Debian...64bit.

Working fine for me on Firefox on both a PC and a Mac.

Try clearing your cache, perhaps there is a old javascript from the old software which is causing an issue on your machine.

Clearing cache didn't help, still no thumbnail in threads........I'll study some more. This is a new OS, less than one week I installed it , I'll check for a hidden firewall that might be doing something.

Edit to add : It was AdBlock Plus that was blocking the thumbs......great add-on for FF, but it was blocking everything !
