Firmware files for 922

Can anyone tell me if there is a download file I can load on USB for my 922? I recently placed one online that had older firmware on it, when dish activated it they said they would automatically apply the new firmware to it.
Well when then did now its stuck in a reboot cycle, it comes almost all the way up tries to download the guide, gets about 1/2 way then reboots again. I tried just about everything with it but I have a feeling it has corrupted firmware.

I did read where you could take a usb flash drive with the firmware and reflash the firmware but I need the firmware file first.

It might have a bad harddrive causing this issue.

I don't think Dish ever released a firmware file that could be downloaded and applied over USB.

Kidding aside, I thought those were phased out some years ago.

Yup, its a white elephant even though it beats the pants of of a 722 when it comes to interface, look, better picture over HDMI and so on. Unfortunately it was shelved by Dish long before its time and its funny they don't even like to acknowledge its existence.

Not sure why, maybe it was the TiVO lawsuit, or poor beta testing to shake out all the bugs that gave it a bad name or what. Oh well, I will try to keep them both running as long as possible. I like my bill under $90 each month and that won't happen with a hopper and a bunch of joeys lol.

I don't know either, but I think changing the Sling protocol took that part away. That disabled my Sling Adapter as well.
