If I sign up for the Dish Flex pack, is it still $29.99 after auto pay discount or is it now $34.99 for new customers? Also, do new customers signing up for Flex get the $5 DVR discount? I asked Dish sales and was told they can't tell me any pricing until I give up my social security number!?!?!?!

So, give them your SS number. They can't charge any thing against it and will not steal your benefits. At least they did not want a credit card number yet.

Yeah, how hard is it to give a price range, from excellent credit to poor credit.

You get a $5 autopay credit only. I would also check out DirecTV, if your credit is good with them.

And take a hard hit on your credit report just for pricing? Those hits last 2 years.

Any hard inquiry will drop your score a few points. If your score is 820, that's not an issue, but if you're trying to rebuild your credit, any drop isn't good.
