Sounds like Dish is using the DirecTV approach.. Advertising something that doesn't exist just to keep the plug in the tub from all those folks floating over to D* for the Sunday Ticket.

<YAWN>

The whole football thing is the only reason I still have D* in addition to E*...

No amount of spin can hide the fact that Dish doesn't have Sunday Ticket :D

ESPN? NFL Network? Meh.

I'm just curious - what is the big deal?

Is it only a problem if you want to watch games that are outside of your local market?

Yeah but I could see Sunday Ticket changing once the NFL Network starts pulling more of the games to their Network.

You all know that the only reason that D* has Sunday Ticket is that the NFL did not offer E* that package and D* is the ONLY provider who does have it.
It is not E* fault that they don't have the Sunday Ticket.

NFL ST and ESPN GP are overpriced when it comes to Coll and NFL football. I could see more than enough football to keep me happy and Im loving NFL Network HD so far.

NFLST = :down

Wrong; do your homework ST was open to anyone to bid on it and E* let it pass, similar not the same but similar to the MLB Package situation that just took place this Spring. As always this starts the D* vs. E* war. ST sucks !!!!!!!!!!!! ST is great !!!!!!!!!!!! I hate E* and I hate D* ,E* is better and so on and so on. Moral of the story, if you like a lot of sports programming ST/MBLEI/YES and for now anyway the BTN etc. then it is D* all the way. If that’s not of interest to you then take your pick of providers and decide whose service that you like best and go with it.I have had both and I like D* the better, but that is MY preference others no doubt will have their own.As has been mentioned many times in these forums, competition is a good thing for all sat-tv subs.As for me ST is a big :up !!!!!!!!!!!!!
