So my wife called out to me "I think I might have thrown our remote in the washing machine". and she was right. It went through an entire cycle. And still worked the minute it came out. And it was the TV 2 RF remote. Good job Dish.

Maybe now I'll get a tv for the bathroom knowing I can use that thing when wet.

Forgot to mention. The remote looks brand new now too. Didn't realize how dirty it was.

I dropped mine in the bathtub a few times, as I got a whirlpool bath and a TV in my bathroom.

The remote worked fine, the key is taking out the batteries and letting it dry out.

I could have been more carefull, but wasn't due to the fact I had dozens of remotes laying around my house.
