I got the top of the line Outlaw Audio their 12" powered sub for $600 and I have been incredibly impressed with the quality and the solid deep bass. I bought it as a second sub to my first which I built myself, a dual voice coil 15" powered by a NAD amp bridged mono delivering 400 watts.

For home theater systems Outlaw Audio makes some very impressive surround sound processors along with surround sound integrated amp/processors and separate amps. I think for a high end home theater at a very reasonable price they are definately worth a check..:up
