Forcing a new national software release

is there a way to force an update I still haven't received the release from 2-5

no way to force national release download

if you want downloads check the dtc ce forum
they release beta software friday night and saturday night and your able to force download on them

National release doesn't required special action. In case if your receiver stuck or missing it ( means the version in the air - check DirecTV Receiver Firmware site ), then use same method - 02468.

Give it a few weeks - they roll out new releases in stages and not to all receivers at once.

Dont be in a rush for this release. There are no featues.

We got a new release this morning at 2:30am on our HR21-700 and HR20-700.
