Forgot how too hookup a 4 in one Diseqc switch too my Traxis 6100HD receiver with a C/Ku band lnb.
Thought the correct way was to put the C band lnb into port 1 and Ku lnb into port 2 and the One cable into receiver.
The rest I forgot about what too put into the Menu in the receiver.
Would like a bit of help in the rest of the setup...Thanks.JF

I wouldn't use a DiSEqC 1.0 4X1 switch. I would use a 22khz tone switch. Ku on the tone side. Select a dual LO 5150/10750 and you are good to go :).
But with the 4X1 you would have a list of Ku sats on Port #(your choice) and a list of Cband sats on other Port # (your choice)

I have a 10 foot dish with acuator with a Chaparral C/Ku feed horn
Will have to move my dish whenever I want a satellite
and think using a DisEqC would be best too use instead of a A/B switch...JT

In that case I think Magic's setup with the 22khz switch would be more user friendly. The next question, how are you moving the dish and what's controlling polarity?

I think I have said I was using a Chaparral C/Ku feed horn for polarity
Only thing to do with the Traxis 6100HD is to pick out a satellite then move the dish
Then hit odd or even numbers from my 4DTV 922.........JF

Okay, you hadn't mentioned the 922 before.Just wanted to make sure you had a means to control polarity, because the Traxis wouldn't be able to handle a polarotor.
